Lakelands Lifeline

​

Lakelands Lifeline, in partnership with Hold Out the Lifeline: A Mission to Families at the state level, will work to address the health care needs and concerns of its congregation and community residents in the Abbeville, Greenwood, Laurens, McCormick, Saluda and Edgefield counties.

 

The goals of this project are:

  • To train congregational members to become Family Health Advocates,

  • To collaborate, link and partner with appropriate health and human service agencies, civic organizations, other faith-based groups, community health care centers, community businesses and county health department, and

  • To conduct and implement appropriate educational sessions and training based upon identified needs. Its mission is “Empowering people to live healthier, happier, and productive lives through education, prevention, and community responsibility.”
