CHURCHES WORKING TOGETHER FOR A HEALTHIER COMMUNITY

Darlington County Crime Watch Network, in partnership with Hold Out the Lifeline: A Mission to Families at the state level, will work to improve the overall well-being of children and families by creating safer community environments.

 

The goals of this project are:

• To train congregational members and community residents to become Family Health Advocates and establish neighborhood crime watches,

• To collaborate, link and partner with appropriate health and human service agencies, other faith-based groups, community health care centers, community businesses and county health department, and

• To conduct and implement appropriate educational sessions and training based upon identified needs.
